Frequently asked questions
Drivers, utilities and software for your DSC token.
Which driver do I need for my DSC token?
You need the driver that matches your token brand, for example ePass, Proxkey, mToken or SafeNet. The right token driver lets Windows and your browser detect the device so you can sign.
Where do I get the DSC signing utility?
Each portal or Certifying Authority provides its own signer or utility, such as the emSigner-type tools used by GST and MCA, or the web signer some tender sites use. Install the one the portal you are using asks for.
My DSC token is not detected. How do I fix it?
Reinstall the token driver, try a different USB port, confirm the token management tool shows the certificate, and restart the browser. On newer systems you may also need the browser signing extension or host component enabled.
Do I need Java to use my DSC?
Some older portals still use Java-based applets for signing and may need a compatible Java runtime; many newer portals have moved to host-based utilities that do not need Java. Use whatever the specific portal specifies.
How do I change my DSC token password?
Open the token management utility that came with your driver, choose change password or change PIN, and enter the old and new values. If the token password locks after too many wrong attempts it may need a reset or the certificate reissued.
